Pavilions are roofed structures, supported by 4 or more posts without walls. Since pavilions don’t have sides or a floor, they are usually constructed on proper footings such as helical piles, sono tubes and or engineered concrete pad. Pavilions can be designed to fit your needs and commonly used to provide a roof for a seating area beneath them.
Our structures are built using #1 Grade Douglas Fir Timbers. Our timbers are dressed on all four sides. Dressed timbers convey a more premium smooth finish which gives an emphasis on the beautiful wood grain Douglas Fir has to offer. Dressed timbers are used in applications where an emphasis is placed on the aesthetics. Dressed timbers are also very beneficial, and attribute to less shrinkage, more uniform thickness, and aid in precise mortise and tenon connections.
At TIMBERKITS we use a high-quality stain called CUTEK Extreme. CUTEK Extreme is known to highlight the natural grain and beauty of wood. It also provides a robust and long-lasting protection. Cutek Extreme will not flake or peel. Long-term, CUTEK Extreme offers a cumulative protection as the oil stays active inside the timber and offers protection from the inside out.
All Pavilions will need an exterior roof finish such as asphalt shingles, metal or cedar shingles. Each comes with its own benefit and offers a different look.
All our structures as built to order therefore are completely customizable. We offer different timber sizes as well as hydro and lighting packages.
